The Young Black Professionals (YBP) is a group founded by four young professionals in Canada’s National Capital, Ottawa, who want to promote social networking and professional development in the Black community.
YBP is a welcoming group and also includes those who feel "young at heart".

As part of our “Taking You to the Next Level” series, we bring you coach and facilitators Ketziah Rhule, founder of Koachme and Dominique Dennery, founder of Dominique Dennery Resources Inc. and Dennery International.
Ketziah Rhule started her career in Human Capital Management where she was a headhunter and coach. Over the years Ketziah has worked with hundreds of people to help them identify their gifts, talents and strengths in order to help them define and articulate their purpose. Ketziah believes strength based development is key to success. Ketziah will provide you with strategies to assist you discover your talents, gifts and strengths to move you closer to unlocking your passion.
Dominique Dennery, is a certified coach, facilitator and management consultant who is now contemplating her third career. She started her professional life in the Federal Public Service, first in Public Affairs, then HR Policy and Planning and finally Senior Appointments. She was curious about the private sector, and left government for a large international consulting firm where she led executive search, succession planning, diversity management and team building assignments. Restless, she decided to start her own firm where she focused initially on the same areas, and has been expanding her practice to work with individuals and teams who want to explore new ways of being and realize their full potential.
Dominique will speak to you about defining your core purpose, connecting to your passion and engaging in a transformative journey to achieve your dreams.
We will be hosting our event at Jean Albert’s Soul Food where you will be treated to owner Leroy Albert’s grandmother’s authentic Georgian Southern Fried Chicken, Sweet Cornbread, Mashed Potatoes, Mac n’ Cheese and Coleslaw. Come relax with good food, engaging conversation, and walk away with strategies to help you move forward.
